The beaded hat project has been completed. It’s going to be called
The Red River because of the wonderful memories I have there of meeting Michael Martin Murphy, and snow skiing with my late son Cody. Love that beautiful rustic place and it will always hold a place in my heart.
This hat has been beaded in turquoise, silvery white and reds seed beads in a native pattern tradition.
The hatband is made up of tooled leather and Navajo styled material to match the beading.
It’s laced with a Sterling silver concho and finished off with a cluster of baby pheasant feathers.
